How long will the madness last?

madness: noun
a state of wild or chaotic activity
What madness am I referring to? Well, it’s this. Good quality, low mileage, used van and truck prices have gone mad, but how long will this last? Good question.
On a daily basis here at View Truck and Van, we’re being asked fortunes for vehicles and, of course, we simply aren’t buying them. Yes, we are paying more, but if the bubble bursts while we have those vehicles in stock, it could well turn into our loss.
New van and truck manufacturers are starting, albeit slowly, to trickle a few new vehicles through which will start to ease the blockage and bring us back to some sort of order in the next few months.
Our insight on this current situation is that we have hit the heights and it will remain level for a while. Having said that, we feel the higher mileage vehicles will start to go down sooner than the late low milers. In fewer than six months the scales will have tipped and there will be loads of used vehicles available again; this time at more sensible money.
So, what am I trying to say here? Well, it’s easy. If you have anything you want to sell, now is the time. But don’t shoot yourself in the foot by being too greedy and end up with the vehicle simply sat biding its time in your yard. There is a market out there and we at View Truck and Van have several options open to you to help you, just give us a call.
