If you’re a fan of Top Gear, you’re going to love this post!
Top Gear Digital, the online platform of the world-famous TV show, launched GRIDLOCK last month. Just like the tile game you find in a Christmas cracker (yes, that really infuriating game!), the GRIDLOCK challenge is to release the Top Gear Ford Ka from the grid. But there are a few other cars in the way and the keys are all mixed up in a bucket!
Cassandra and I competed in GRIDLOCK recently – link to the video below. You’ll see the brains behind the operation that’s for sure but, more importantly, it underlines how we all need to have a bit of fun occasionally and how teamwork is as important at home as it is in the workplace. You may even spot a modicum of spirit and determination to win…just a modicum.
We should all take a bit of time out in life, and this was a day of fun for both of us in the middle of Lockdown 3.0. Excitement for us for sure, however, if you had any idea of how much work the guys at Top Gear put into this, you would appreciate the production even more. It was blowing a gale and we endured torrential rain in the morning, but everyone was so positive and helpful. It was an unforgettable day out.
