Welfare vans doing their bit for the NHS

You already know that here at View Truck and Van we’re massive fans of welfare vans? Well, today’s task epitomised that sentiment because we had the great pleasure of handing over one of our brilliant welfare vans.

Working alongside the fabulous team at M1 Welfare Sanitation Services, we carried out full checks on the vehicle, serviced it, sorted a few scrapes and gave it some tender loving care from us. We’re immensely proud of the finished result and so is the client, a group of doctors’ surgeries based in Northumberland.

Yep, you did read that right! It may sound strange, but the vehicle is now set to go out into the local communities to deliver mobile COVID-19 and flu vaccinations, giving the volunteers a safe place to use the loo, have their lunch and keep warm and dry while remaining in a secure bubble.

What a fantastic way to re- use a vehicle!

As always, we went above and beyond to make sure this vehicle was absolutely spot on and we really hope that other surgeries across the country pick up on the idea and come and get what we have left.
